Crawling Woman Prints

A distressed woman crawls along the ground. She is bald, skeletal and covered in a grey removal blanket. The starting point for this work was a newspaper article describing the bombing of Mariupol, Ukraine maternity hospital in 2022. The woodcut prints were made from photographs of the sculpture Crawling Woman 2022.
